On December 25, #Fantom announced the launch of the #Fantom Sonic testnet
The three major upgrades include: EVM Fantom, which provides significantly faster smart contract execution. Carmen database storage mechanism and Lachesis consensus mechanism optimized with these #Fantom #Octoprotocol enhancements are predicted to reach 2000 X20 transactions per second. Additionally, the node storage on the wallet is reduced to 512MB. This makes validators on wallets more equitably distributed and easier to access.
